Taking care of your nails at home plays an important role in your overall well-being and aesthetic appearance. This is especially true when a visit to a manicure salon is not always possible or convenient. To ensure that your nails always look well-groomed and beautiful, follow these tips:

  1. Regular cleaning and exfoliation
Start by cleaning and exfoliating your nails regularly. Choose quality manicure tools such as natural material files to avoid damage and preserve the natural structure of your nails.
  2. Always use moisturising products
Don’t forget to moisturise your nail plate and the skin around it. Use special moisturising creams or nail oils to prevent dryness and flaking.
  3. Vitamins and diet
Your diet plays an important role in the condition of your nails. Consuming enough vitamins and minerals such as biotin (vitamin H) and zinc will help strengthen your nail plate and make it less brittle.
  4. Avoid harsh products
Avoid frequent use of aggressive nail polish or gel polish removers, such as acetone removers, which can dry out the nail plate and cause damage.
  5. Use protective coatings
To keep your nails beautiful and strong, use protective coatings such as base coats before applying nail polish or gel polish, and top coats to maintain shine and staying power.
  6. Use gloves when in contact with household chemicals
Remember to use gloves when cleaning or coming into contact with harsh household chemicals. This will help prevent damage to your nail plate and the skin around it.
  7. Regular visits to the manicurist
Don’t forget to make regular visits to a professional manicurist for professional care of your nails. Not only will they help you keep them healthy, but they will also help you create unrivalled designs that are in line with the latest fashion trends.

By following these tips, you will be able to ensure your nails look well-groomed and keep them healthy for a long time. Remember, taking care of your nails at home is not just a procedure, but a manifestation of your concern for your appearance and well-being.

Gel polish is a great way to make your manicure colourful and long-lasting. However, when it comes time to remove gel polish, it’s important to do it correctly so you don’t damage your nail plate. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to remove gel polish safely and effectively at home.

What you’ll need:
Cotton discs or cotton wools
Acetone or gel polish remover
Foil
Orange stick or pusher
Nail file
Nail polishing buff
Cuticle cream or oil
Step 1: Prepare your nails
Before you start removing gel polish, it’s important to prepare your nails. Wash your hands with warm water and soap and dry them well. Then file the surface of the gel polish with a file to remove the top glossy layer. This will help the acetone penetrate the gel polish and dissolve it faster.

Step 2: Apply the acetone
Cut cotton discs in half or use cotton wools. Soak them in acetone or gel polish remover. Place the soaked cotton disc on each nail, covering the surface of the nail completely.

Step 3: Wrap the nails in foil
After you have applied the soaked cotton discs to your nails, wrap each nail with a piece of foil. This will help hold the acetone in place and speed up the dissolving process of the gel polish. Leave the foil on your nails for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the foil and gel polish
After 10-15 minutes have passed, gently remove the foil from your nails. The gel polish should soften and begin to peel away from the nail plate. Use an orange stick or poucher to gently remove any remaining gel polish. If the gel polish doesn’t come off easily, put the foil and cotton discs back in place for a few more minutes.

Step 5: Buff and polish your nails
After removing the gel polish, use a nail file to smooth the surface of your nails. Then buff your nails with a buff until smooth. This will help remove gel polish residue and give your nails a natural shine.

Step 6: Moisturise and care
After removing gel polish, your nails may be dry and need extra moisturising. Apply cuticle cream or oil to the cuticle and nail plate to moisturise and strengthen them. Carefully massage the product into the skin around your nails.

Helpful tips:
Take your time removing gel polish to avoid damaging your nails.
Avoid using metal tools that can scratch the nail plate.
Take care of your nails regularly to keep them healthy and strong.
By following these steps, you can safely remove gel polish at home, keeping your nails beautiful and healthy.

Many people believe that a quality manicure can only be obtained in a beauty salon. However, by following the right techniques and using the right tools, you can achieve a professional result at home. Here are some tips on how to make a home manicure as good as in a salon.

  1. Preparing tools and materials
Before you start your manicure, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials:

Nail file
Nail polishing buff
Nail clippers or nail clippers
Poucher or orange cuticle stick
Cuticle cream or oil
Nail polish base
Coloured nail polish or gel polish
Top coat
Acetone-free nail polish remover
Cotton discs

  1. Preparing your nails
The first thing to do is to prepare your nails. Remove the old nail polish with an acetone-free nail polish remover to avoid drying out your nails. Then, shape your nails to the desired shape with a nail file. Remember, it is best to file your nails in one direction to avoid splitting them.
  2. Cuticle care
Soak your hands in warm water for a few minutes to soften the cuticle. Use a poucher or orange stick to gently push the cuticle back. If there is excess skin, gently trim it off with cuticle scissors. Apply cuticle cream or oil to moisturise the skin around your nails.
  3. Polishing and buffing
Use a buff to polish your nails to make them smooth and even. This will help the base coat and polish to adhere to the nail plate better and last longer.
  4. Applying the base coat
Always start your manicure with a base coat. A base coat protects the nail plate from yellowing and provides better adhesion of the coloured polish to the nail. Apply a thin layer of base coat and allow it to dry.
  5. Applying coloured lacquer
After the base has dried, apply the coloured polish. For rich colour and even coverage, apply two thin coats of nail polish, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Try to apply the nail polish smoothly, starting from the centre of the nail and working towards the edges.
  6. Top Coat
Finish your manicure with a top coat. A top coat not only adds shine but also protects the nail polish from scratches and chipping, making it last longer. Apply a thin layer of top coat and allow it to dry well.
  7. Care and moisturising
After finishing your manicure, moisturise your hands with a cream or lotion. This will help keep your skin soft and well-moisturised. Remember to also use cuticle oil regularly to keep your cuticles healthy.

Helpful tips:
Work in a well-lit area so you can see all the details of your work.
Take your time and give each coat of nail polish enough time to dry.
Use quality tools and materials for the best results.
Following these tips, you will be able to make a home manicure, which is not inferior to the salon, and enjoy beautiful well-groomed nails every day.
